Aron Burton Good Blues to You Delmark DE-727 $15.99

Aron has been one of the top bass players of Chicago blues since Freddy King gave him his first bass in the late '50s. He did long stretches with Junior Wells and Fenton Robinson until one fateful evening in 1978 when Albert Collins heard his band. Collins hired them to play on his classic album Ice Pickin' and took them on tour, calling them the Icebreakers. Aron later went back out on his own and has had good success as leader in Chicago and abroad. For this album, Aron's third, fellow Icebreaker and brother, Larry Burton, is back on board.
